Quantock Abbey Wine Cellars was formed in 1995 by the merger of two Somerset-based wine merchants, Christopher Staniland of Quantock Wine Shippers based in Crowcombe, north of Taunton and Andrew Mangles of Abbey Cellars, based originally in Yeovil and latterly in Chard, both in South Somerset.
Both of us were trained in London and have a combined experience of approximately thirty years in the Wine Trade.
The business concentrates on supplying a selected range of well priced wines from around the world to private individuals and trade customers; restaurants etc. The wines are all chosen for quality as well as value for money and are subject to rigorous selection before the final choices are made for the list. We extend this philosophy to include our choice of wines for this website, and you will receive the same personal service that all our customers get.
We have recently moved to our new purpose built warehouse near Yeovil, where we would be happy to receive you by prior appointment.
