Alcohol Abuse – Lies and Statistics

Last autumn I posted a blog about the use of statistics in policy making on alcohol written by Andrew Orlowski and posted in the Register in 2008. This post substantially rewrites the earlier one as for reasons of ignorance I posted the original in full instead of referring to it and putting in a link .
