In House Tastings – Pinot Noir

Last week we had another of our regular in-house tastings in which we assess wines that people have sent to us for inclusion on our wine list. This time we had a selection of Pinot Noirs to look at,  two from Germany,  one from South Africa, one from New Zealand and a Burgundy. This made a good whistle stop tour of both old and new worlds with the German reds being new to both of us. Down here in Somerset the world moves on very slowly. (more…)

Europe, Wine and the Tory party
