Chenin Blanc 2008 Simonsig, Stellenbosch

Soft, ripe apples and honey fragrance with a lively off dry finish. Classic south African chenin with the ripe full flavour that is so good when done correctly, as this is.

This is one of the original wine estates founded in 1688 by Jacques Malan, a Huguenot from France. The Malan family are still in charge and making some superb wines that are as good as anything else from the cape.
