An old estate that has been owned since 1850 by the Brini family, Ormanni makes wines that are decidedly old fashioned in style. The Chianti Classico sees no oak ageing at all whilst the Riserva has some old oak maturation. This results in wines where the fruit and tannins are in perfect balance. Long complex wines which go perfectly with a meal, as they are intended to do.
