Orvieto 2007 Trappolini.

Green and fresh with hints of lemon and green melon, an almost sauvignon like zest.. Very clean and slightly off dry on the finish. Good quaffable stuff on a hot day.

Orvieto is produced in a small district south of Tuscany mainly from the Trebbiano and Malvasia varieties. Pietrocolata is a small producer in the Classico region making good dry and medium wines. We like his dry white which makes a perfect aperitif and is always good quality.

Serve chilled.
