El Cadejo Chardonnay, Central Valley.
Clean with ripe melon and a hint of oak lifting this above the ordinary. Easy drinking and dry on the finish, this has an almost French feel about it. Good food wine.
Santa Alicia who make El Cadejo are a long established (by Chilean standards) producer in the Maipo vally to the South West of Santiago. They make wines of expressive fruit characteristics whose quality level rarely dips below very good. This budget range is typical of the style and good across the board.
